Accounts Payable Clerk

And right now, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure that invoices are correct and paid within agreed payment terms. You will need to be inquisitive, proactive and use your initiative to look at the bigger picture to ensure the job is done properly. 

You will also manage the AP inbox and organise/prioritise invoice workflow, build relationships with stakeholders and work to tight deadlines.

***This is a 35 hour per week role***

Role Responsibility

  • Managing the AP email inbox to organise invoice workflow. 

  • Matching invoices against booking system data.  

  • Coding non-contractual costs.  

  • Managing invoice approval via docusign. 

  • Managing new supplier set up. 

  • Creating and checking payment runs to suppliers before submission. 

  • Supplier statement reconciliation. 

  • Ensuring all company policies & procedures are followed & upheld at every level. 

  • Build relationships with & manage expectations of stakeholders. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Can competently handle different systems. 

  • Able to work as a team and capable of delivering objectives. 

  • Personal flexibility, a proactive approach.  

  • Effective communication skills. 

  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word. 

  • Passed or studying for AAT (or equivalent) or a recent Finance Graduate.
