**This role is working from home with the requirement for occasional travel to our offices in Salfords, Redhill**

And right now we are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join our IT Team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting multiple back-office systems including Integration platforms with a good knowledge of process automation. You will support a robust operation and the role will include application support on Travel reservation system, CRM, Contact centre Telephony applications and various back office applications, from issue to resolution or escalating issues if necessary. You will also manage and maintain existing robotic processes and identify new opportunities for further automation.  

The Application Support Specialist will also be responsible for updating documentation and the knowledge base, helping users to resolve any future technical issues more easily.

Role Responsibility

  • Support of all back-office applications, contact centre applications and Integration platform management
  • Reproduce and debug potential software issues within our testing environments 
  • Change and release management of back-office applications
  • Assist in the development of technical standards and operating procedures including audit documentation
  • Working to identify risks and resolve or escalate as necessary to maintain agreed SLA's 
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify risk, evaluate impact, and produce appropriate solutions, or escalate as necessary 
  • Maintain and operate the Integration platform and identify opportunities to develop further reusable components to improve on existing processes
  • Maintain a product backlog of automation candidates and adopt an 'improve then automate' approach
  • Helping quality assured solutions and in-depth documentation systems move from development into test and live 
  • Presenting to the wider business automated solutions, as well as reviewing documentation to ensure all steps are followed and communicated effectively. 

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience

Essential 

  • Exposure on any Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud computing is mandatory (preferably Azure)  
  • Previous experience supporting multiple applications like CRM, Reservation systems, Finance systems is required. Knowledge of Contact centre applications (CCaaS) would be an advantage.  
  • Experience in RPA platforms preferably UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism 
  • Knowledge and experience in API management and Integration platforms such as Dell Boomi will be a plus 

Desirable:

  • ITIL v4 certified 
  • Microsoft / Azure certifications
  • Previous experience in Travel sector is desirable (although not essential)
