Area Sales Manager- South East

Job Introduction

Representing the Titan brand in your region, you will spend your time visiting agents, training and building awareness of all Titan products. Often attending trade shows in the evenings and weekends along with social events such as industry awards evenings and agent networking events.

You will work closely with your agents to develop their business by taking part in promotions, joint marketing and consumer events. Working as part of a team but with your own area targets to strive towards and build growth.

Role Responsibility

  • Seek & develop new trade partners by exploring all avenues of potential new business
  • Maintain close working relationships with existing travel agent partners within set region
  • Work up detailed weekly and monthly call plans to visit agents
  • Work closely with partners to put together tactical marketing and promotional plans in order to increase mutual business
  • Develop new ways to grow business in own region
  • Work with the Head of Trade Sales to maximise the return on investment from the annual marketing fund for use in joint promotions, training and incentives for agents
  • Work strictly to targets and develop ways to monitor and reach set targets
  • Deliver training to travel agents on a regular basis
  • Deliver presentations to groups - both consumers and agents
  • Submit weekly detailed reports on all activity undertaken
  • Attend shows and events as required, often evenings and weekends
  • Be the eyes and ears of the company, keeping track of competitor activity and feeding back to head office
  • Lead overseas FAM trips and attend trade conferences
  • Adopt a flexible, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business.
  • Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company in line with the company Employee Handbook

The Ideal Candidate

You will have an understanding of the travel trade with experience of working for a tour operator, airline or travel agent. Self-motivation with the ability to work alone and manage work load is a must along with excellent communication and presentation skills for when you are speaking to all our stakeholders. Above all you will be driven, with the motivation to achieve growth and reach targets whilst quickly building a fantastic rapport with agents.

Candidates must have a full clean driving licence.

Package Description

Up to 27,000 pa plus sales commission, company car

35 hours per week which includes working from the Redhill office one day per week to cover admin duties and on the road 4 days per week

FTC- Up to one year Maternity Cover
