Aviation Product Executive

And right now we are looking for an Aviation Product Manager to help ensure a smooth, efficient aviation product from the creation of the tour through to the arrival home of the customer. You will be a key part of maintaining and developing all forms of aviation supply to exceed the needs of the business.

Role Responsibility

  • Working with the Aviation Manager and Internal Product team help to create out of range (OOR) flight options to match future tours based previous knowledge of suitable Airline and fares
  • Take ownership of the conversion of OOR flight bookings to a live booking in the relevant systems using best efforts to match or exceed the original booking
  • Form really strong, persuasive working relationships with our suppliers, to ensure we are getting the very best service and support from them at all times.
  • Monitor and chase for flight allocation confirmations
  • Manage flight allocation reviews, release and cancel unrequired stock proactively in order to maintain relationships with airline partners.
  • Handle all Eurostar product enquiries working with Aviation Op’s to ensure bookings are made as required by the business
  • Work closely with colleagues around the business communicating updates and changes as required
  • Ready to respond to any quality issues, liaising with suppliers and our Customer Service teams
  • Work closely with the Aviation Product Manager to develop the new supply solutions that will compliment our existing portfolio and drive conversion
  • Proactively challenge and/or provide feedback and recommendations on process and system improvements
  • Support as required the business and external customers during force majeure situations

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experienced in working in a busy Air Operations / Ticketing Department
  • Excellent Knowledge of Amadeus GDS system
  • Knowledge and understanding of scheduled airline contracts
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and fares with suppliers
  • High level of attention to detail, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
  • Experience of windows applications, Word & Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure dealing with a variety of situations simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
  • Customer centered approach and Committed to quality of experience, service and the customer journey
