Business Consultant Lead

…And right now, we are looking for a Business Consultant Lead to work in our Operations Development team in our insurance part of the business at an exciting time in Saga’s history. As a Group, Saga is taking to the seas in our brand new, luxury cruise ships, leading the market with innovative insurance and financial products.  

You will be an important part of the operational lead in the delivery of key strategic changes benefitting the business, customer, and our colleagues. You will be gathering agent feedback and any data from within the business to improve and enhance our processes.  

You will be working very closely with the Operational teams to ensure their needs are met and supported thorough delivery by having excellent communication skills.

Role Responsibility

As a Business Consultant Lead your top 5 responsibilities will be: 

  • Support the implementation of strategic business developments into the operation. 

  • Review end of end business processes, recommend improvements and co-ordinate the successful implementation, whilst also considering any impact to regulatory aspects of processes/products across the business. 

  • Work in collaboration with various business units acting with precision pace and empathy. 

  • To seek opportunities to create original ideas to the benefit of the customer, colleague, or company. 

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships across all levels of management and departments across Saga. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills in verbal, written and listening. 

  • Strong time management skills to enable successful delivery within pre-set deadlines and to the required standard. 

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.  

  • Able to lead a multi-functional team to successfully complete assignments. 

  • Expert Problem Solver. 

  • Analytical approach to tasks, research, and projects. 

  • Varied internal business knowledge. 

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Project Management knowledge desired, but not essential. 

  • Experience of continuous improvement. 

  • Knowledge of latest learning trends and how businesses develop. 

  • Operational knowledge of Product.
