We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an advanced CRM Technical Specialist and help shape the future of data-driven marketing across the Saga Group.

Based within our Insurance division and reporting to the Technical CRM Manager, this is a unique opportunity to influence and deliver CRM solutions that have real impact across multiple business areas. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance automation, personalisation, and campaign effectiveness.

This role would be ideal for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on technical experience, ideally with Adobe Campaign, and strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, would be an advantage.

*Hybrid working, your allocated Hub will be London, King's Cross or Folkestone, Enbrook. You will need to be willing to commute to the London and Folkestone hubs as required, typically 1-2 times a month. Travel to locations that are not your base hub is expensed.

Role Responsibility

  • Take ownership of technical CRM projects, including building complex workflows, data schemas, data connections, and scripts to enable automation, personalisation, and campaign delivery.
  • Plan and deliver CRM strategies and customer journeys that support wider business goals, working closely with cross-functional teams on group-wide projects.
  • Support and upskill Group CRM teams by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and best practice support.
  • Ensure marketing data is accurate, accessible, and campaign-ready, while maintaining high coding and rendering standards across emails and digital assets.
  • Use performance insights to drive continuous improvement, applying a test-and-learn approach and staying ahead of emerging technologies.
  • Ensure CRM activity is fully trackable and compliant, with an understanding of FCA and regulatory considerations.
  • Manage multiple technical projects, promoting excellence in CRM delivery and best use of Adobe Campaign.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re after a technically skilled and curious CRM specialist who’s passionate about delivering smart, data-driven marketing solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign (2–4 years), including advanced features and multi-channel campaign delivery.
  • Experience in working with large-scale data sets across multiple data tables.
  • Strong technical skills across JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and database design.
  • Familiarity with Adobe’s broader suite (Analytics, Target), data integration, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
  • An understanding of web tagging and Adobe Analytics is a bonus.

  • Has a natural curiosity for MarTech and keeps an eye on the latest innovations.
  • Can work both independently and collaboratively across teams, bringing energy and professionalism.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking skills.
