CRM and Email Executive

Job Introduction

We are looking for an ambitious, customer centric and results-driven CRM & Email Marketing Executive to drive our CRM and email activity – across acquisition and retention marketing. You will own the whole email channel; working with various stakeholders on the tactical plan and strategy, creating best in class email templates and journeys, reporting on all email performance and you’ll use your passion for data to drive insight and the test & learn plan.

Role Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver personalised and targeted email campaigns, including tactical, solus and triggered.
  • Create engaging, purposeful and inspirational email templates- always thinking of the audience and best practice.
  • Monitoring and reporting on deliverability.
  • Reporting on all email activity to the wider business, including both tactical and customer journey/triggered campaigns.
  • Segmenting the database into targeted audience pots.
  • Creating workflows in the CRM to successfully deliver all email campaigns (both tactical and triggered comms)- always with a customer first approach to each touchpoint.
  • You will be responsible for the Email Test & Learn Strategy and proactively suggest ways in which we can optimise email performance across both triggered and tactical emails.
  • Working with the Head of CRM on adhoc data insight projects and building audience lists for Direct Mail campaigns.
  • Ensure all emails are GDPR compliant.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Numerate & Analytical.
  • Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data, including standard email engagement metrics and analytics tools.
  • Highly organised and capable of juggling many tasks at once.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A passion for travel.
  • Experience working in a similar role within B2C business, preferably within travel.
  • Understanding of or experience in CRM.
  • Proven experience in building, testing and sending high volume emails with knowledge of email marketing techniques and best practice.
