This role is an important part of the Company Secretariat who strive to facilitate, to help and support the entire function of the business through guidance, governance and good practice.
You will be supporting the Company Secretary team professionally and administratively, dealing with all levels across a diversified group. Liaising as required with Registrars, Companies House, regulatory bodies and of course the internal business.
You will bring high levels of organisation skills, impeccable professionalism & integrity and a strong will to obtain knowledge of all relevant company legislation.

Role Responsibility
- All core company secretarial duties (annual compliance work, board and shareholder resolutions)
- Completing and submitting required forms (electronically and in hard copy), annual returns, written resolutions and other documents to the UK Companies House registry
- UK statutory day to day company compliance including liaison with external advisors as required
- Assisting with public company compliance processes, including the drafting and release of London Stock Exchange Regulatory News Service announcements
- Working closely with the Assistant Company Secretaries on the preparation of Board and Committee papers
- Supporting the Company Secretary and team during the AGM preparation and the production of the Annual Report and Accounts
The Ideal Candidate
Capability, Knowledge and Experience
- Keen to obtain knowledge of UK Companies Act 2006, FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules and other relevant legislation
- Good working knowledge in the use of the latest company secretarial software is preferred but full training will be provided
Education and Qualifications
- Preferably from a legal background with a law or business degree
- GradICSA or an intention to undertake the ICSA Company Secretarial Qualification
- Ideally some experience of working in a Legal or Company Secretarial department

- Highly organised
- Have the highest levels of professionalism and integrity
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to produce high quality written documents
- Be able to respond quickly to ad hob queries and manage conflicting priorities
