We are an award-winning travel brand, Saga Travel Group and Titan Travel. Our Content Executive is a critical part to our content team, ensuring content is correct and consistent across various channels, websites, online and offline brochures.

You will be solely responsible for the accuracy of the content, updating our bespoke CMS platform daily and tracking the progress of updates ensuring the live views are correct and future prints are accurate.

You will be working alongside an expert creative content team of copywriters, who will rely on your care and attention when updating content, so we have brand consistency, tone of voice and the correct product offering.

You’ll be maintaining pre-written content for different stages of our customer journey. Working closely with our Product and Content teams to manage change and maintain accuracy in our comms. You’ll work with Product, Operations and Web teams to ensure the timely delivery of customer documentation; itineraries, optional excursions, useful information and booking conditions.

This role is also responsible for getting our product on sale online. You’ll connect information points, sync data and push product live to both Saga and Titan websites.

You’ll need to be a self-starter and take the initiative in amending process where efficiencies can be made whilst proactively engaging with stakeholders to identify and improve our processes. With a focus on single content sources and automation where feasible.

We offer flexibility over where you work – you choose a place where you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs Crawley, Ashford, London. We come together with a purpose to collaborate, typically every Monday in Crawley and every quarter in London.  

Role Responsibility

You will be accountable for the following tasks;

  • Understand our customer’s needs, ensuring pre-written content is delivered in a clear and concise way.
  • Liaise with colleagues across product and marketing to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information.
  • Advise Content and Marketing on any product change.
  • Be seen as the Content Customer Champion: create and update touring product information for use across website, brochures and customer docs.
  • Own the impact of holiday amendments for our content (copy/image/text) and the implication of the change.
  • Write copy updates, write useful information and load content to our CMS. (FileMaker)
  • Create documentation PDFs, ensuring accuracy of information, (copy/image/map/pricing) and version control.
  • Planning: ensure delivery of all customer documents in line with new tour on sale dates.
  • Sync information correctly to put product on sale digitally.
  • Brand expert: demonstrate expert knowledge about our product, effectively communicate amplifying core pillars of expertise and winning choice.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a confident detail specialist, able to identify where the change to product impacts content across a range of customer touchpoints. Able to fully own the change for content, ensuring all outputs are up to date and people are informed, questioning where necessary.

You will also need to demonstrate the following skills, experiences and Saga Values;

  • Impeccable copywriting skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Can demonstrate excellent grammar skills and insight to alternative wording options in factual informative content
  • Be a process driven individual, who will work diligently to ensure the content is correct
  • Have previously worked on a CMS and managed live digital content
  • Have an eye for visual styling for PDF creation
  • Highly organised and used to multi-tasking to deliver work across multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a structured approach to decision making
  • Generous with knowledge/expertise to create collaborative working
  • Confident across all MS packages including excel spreadsheets

Desirable;

  • Knowledge of travel or touring products / booking terms and conditions
