This role is an important part of the Creative team who strive to facilitate, to help and support the Holidays function of the business.
Working with the rest of the Content team you will plan and manage a large amount of work required for a number of different customer-facing channels and systems, while ensuring that all deadline and quality standards are met.
You will be passionate about writing compelling marketing copy for Saga Holidays and Cruises, as well as promoting Saga's unique customer service value. You will have a meticulous attention to detail and a zealous approach to ensuring that our Travel products are kept up-to-date, on brand and consistent across all channels.

Role Responsibility
- Produce specific elements of written copy for Saga Travel, including but not limited to, brochure pages, itineraries and web copy
- Write and update, informative and engaging copy for Saga Travel products
- Ensure copy and content is original, engaging and adheres to Saga’s style and brand guidelines
- Work within the guardrails of Saga’s inhouse systems and processes, to facilitate the smooth-running of the content team and wider studio function
- Act as a point of contact for all content-related aspects of Saga Travel products, working closely and collaboratively with Production, Design, Product, Marketing, and Digital teams
- Attend new product briefs, and translate these into appealing copy, delivered within set deadlines and in line with Saga’s copy guidelines and standards
- Research, write, edit and amend product and destination content within the CMS, ensuring copy fits within the Saga style and is regularly reviewed
- Liaise with the Senior Content Manager on the status of campaigns, where deadlines may be challenging and/or support is needed
- Be willing to undertake ad hoc projects, as requested by the business
- Have a professional outlook and a positive approach to working at Saga

Capability, Knowledge & Experience
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Deadline driven
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Education & Qualifications
- Relevant degree calibre is preferred
