And right now we are looking for a Content and Social Editor. Reporting into the Creative Marketing Manager.
This is a key role within the Content team at Titan, expressing the brand to engage and delight customers. You are responsible for producing itinerary copy for brochures and web to a high standard – for accuracy, quality of information, tone of voice, inspiration and creativity. As Content Exec you will be creating personalised, tailored to channel brand communications.
You will liaise with stakeholders across the business (primarily the Product and Marketing teams) within an often high-volume production environment and deliver a very significant output of copy content. Alongside visual creative, tour copy is essential in positioning Titan as the experts in quality escorted touring and attracting bookings through rich, immersive and inspiring content.
In this role, you will be responsible for our social strategy, defining the role of social for our business, planning and executing campaigns to drive engagement and brand affinity. Working closely with marketing execs to deliver campaigns, the key success of this role lies in the creative ideas and understanding how social in our marketing mix can support delivering our commercial targets.
Whilst the core output of the role is tour copy and proofing production, you will be required to create copy across the marketing mix including email, blog, web and social. The role requires ability to edit and champion our content – through tone of voice, content pillars and brand personality.
Role Responsibility
Content creation and development
- Create engaging copy to brief and to deadline on a range of brand communications. Edit and maintain up to date information across comms including:
- Brochures – editorial and tour copy, creating content and proofing
- Customer itineraries - multiple versions depending on dates and channel requirements
- Tour/cruise line/rail information sheets
- Optional excursion documentation
- Social campaigns
- Advertising creative (press, inserts, display, supplements)
- Email and web copy
- Blogs
- Champion the brand and write, adapt and edit content in line with our content strategy and consistent tone of voice.
- Work with the designers to ensure 'joined up' responses to marketing briefs that bring the idea to life.
- Ideate, create and implement engaging social campaigns, ensuring we maximise reach of content cross channel
- Update and create customer information pages.
- Ensure all copy changes are updated across all contact points.
- Be journalistic, research to ensure copy is original, engaging, and factually accurate.
Planning and delivery
- Engage with Product to ensure briefs are provided with required information at the required time to meet deadlines.
- Ensure copy is approved through the right channels and use systems (CMS, workflow management) to provide visibility of work status and accurately record progress. Ensure systems are kept up to date.
- Raise risk around deadlines and manage your workload to meet all stage gate deadlines.
- Adopt a flexible, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a talented writer used to producing a high volume of copy to tight deadlines, whilst demonstrating a high attention to detail and consistency at all times. The role also requires you to keep the CMS up to date and load information into associated booking engines as required. You must be an excellent team player, and bring with you a creative energy and strong commitment to playing your part in Titan’s ongoing commercial success. Experience of working in the travel industry and a demonstrable passion for travel is necessary.
