Credit Hire DMU Handler

And right now, we are looking for a Credit Hire DMU Handler to join us. You will be responsible for the downtime management of defendant credit hire claims and ensure durations are kept to a minimum, whilst highlighting opportunities for negotiation at settlement stage.

Role Responsibility

  • Manage the downtime of defendant credit hire claims.
  • Arrange the collection, recovery, inspection, and repair of third-party vehicles when required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and credit hire organisations to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely and economical fashion.
  • Perform desktop Total Loss report assessments to reduce hire duration and claim close
  • Assist in managing our protocol agreements.
  • To identify and exploit areas of dispute with Credit Hire Organisations
  • Complete third-party reports and assist with liability investigations.
  • Highlight potentially fraudulent claims to the claim’s validation team
  • To contribute proportionately to the team’s achievement of all its targets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good understanding of the claims system
  • Liability experience preferred
  • Professional
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Flexible approach to work.
