Cruise Revenue Executive

With two brand new, purpose-built cruise ships launched, and market-leading, innovative insurance, and financial products the Saga Group is an extremely exciting place to be as we move toward the Saga 70th anniversary in 2021.  

Recent years have heralded a new era in British cruising for Saga as we launched our luxury boutique ships, Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure. 

And right now, we are looking for a Cruise Revenue Executive to join the Cruise Revenue team. In this role, you will co-ordinate and implement all administrative system aspects of Cruise Revenue Management for Saga Cruises.  

You will have an understanding of the cruising industry and have a knowledge of reservation system. You will bring effective communication, problem solving and attention to detail skills as well as being adaptable and resilient. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside and learn from a specialist team within travel. With two new ships and strong demand, this should be an interesting time to be in the team when we can get back to sailing. There may also be opportunities in the future to get on board the ships in this role. 

Please note, this is a maternity cover fixed term contract for up to 12 months.

Role Responsibility

  • To input data into the in-house systems as decided by the Head of Cruise Market Performance 
  • To input and deliver revenue messaging for Saga Cruises 
  • To communicate the pricing / revenue data to internal and external customers as needed 
  • To check all brochure and other artwork for accuracy and clarity of pricing in line with Management Instructions and current legislation 
  • To berth the ships, allocating guarantee cabins and speaking with customers where appropriate and managing the inventory for non - paying and paying passengers 
  • Actioning retro pricing decisions as needed 
  • To keep and develop competitor analysis deck 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills 
  • Excellent system skills including Microsoft Office
  • An Ability to input and manage large volumes of data quickly, accurately and in line with deadlines 
  • An ability to collaborate closely with colleagues in Sales, Studio, Marketing and onboard our Saga ships 
  • A good standard of secondary education 
  • Well organised 
  • Technically astute 
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong communicator 
  • Pragmatic
