And right now, we are looking for a Finance Systems Developer to join our growing Finance Transformation team! You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the Finance Systems architecture, which will include performing systems administration, maintenance tasks and providing support and training to your colleagues, both within Finance and other departments across the business. 

You will also be responsible for delivery of the Finance Transformation programme, including the development of existing systems and identifying and implementing new systems to deliver process efficiencies across the Finance department and beyond!

You’ll have experience of working with SQL, VBA and TM1, Purchase to Pay platforms such as Coupa, project management and systems implementation.

Role Responsibility

  • Working with the business and finance teams to understand requirements and propose suitable system design specification. 
  • Implementing designed technical solutions, including completing comprehensive testing, and adequate training & documentation of solution.
  • Providing day to day support to colleagues with queries and issues as raised
  • Performing systems administration & maintenance tasks on the core systems the team supports (Dream, Controller, TM1, Cadency, PTX and Coupa)
  • Assisting in version upgrades and roll outs of the Finance systems. 
  • Managing implementation of change / new systems from end to end, including full design approval stage, development, testing and PIR process.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, supporting colleagues and seeking to contribute original ideas to the benefit of the department and organisation
  • Providing support to the Finance Systems Manager as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent attention to detail is a must as is the ability to understand existing processes.
  • Working with the finance team and other departments to translate business requirements into design.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to learn new products, systems and processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to use own initiative or work as part of a team.
  • Development experience, preferably within Finance Systems
  • Proven experience of project management and systems implementation
  • Experience working with SQL, VBA and TM1
  • Experience working with Purchase to Pay platform (such as Coupa)
