An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Financial Crime Administrator to join our Group Risk team in Enbrook
You will be directly responsible for logging referrals, producing customer letters and emails at a high standard of quality, as well as taking inbound and outbound calls from customers for any fraud investigation.

Role Responsibility
- Logging new referrals received into the Financial Crime Team.
- Producing customer letters and emails to a high standard.
- Following up actions on Saga policies as instructed by the panel underwriter and/or Financial Crime Investigator.
- Managing inbound and outbound customer calls made in relation to fraud investigation cases; questioning the customer in an appropriate manner to understand the facts in a case; producing accurate notes detailing the outcome of conversations with customers.
- Following internal processes in full to ensure that every investigation case is handled fairly and consistently, and in line with the relevant policy terms and conditions.
- Accurately updating departmental records in relation to financial crime investigation outcomes.
- Adding fraud records/data to Saga Insurance Database (SID) and other fraud databases to prevent further exposure to known fraud risks.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in relation to fraud controls, processes and investigations.
- Compliant with the standards laid out by various regulatory bodies including the FCA.
- To action appraisal points from monthly/quarterly reviews and achieve personal objectives and targets.
- Demonstrates professional objectivity and balanced judgement throughout the course of their work.
- Respects the value and ownership of sensitive information privy to during the course of business and does not disclose information without appropriate authority unless there is a legal or professional obligation to do so.
- Demonstrates a broad understanding of how their role fits with the wider business; where appropriate, engages with the wider business in order to improve financial crime awareness and to improve fraud processes.

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Business/Market Awareness particularly in relation to Fraud.
- Demonstrates a good level of awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses and takes action to address them.
- Excellent communication skills, written and listening, across all business levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Maintains customer and business confidentiality and understands the consequences of any confidentiality breach.
- Computer literate with good Word and Excel knowledge.
- Excellent time management skills to enable successful delivery to deadlines and to the required standard.
- Ability to interact with members of staff and management at all levels.
- Ability to act as a point of contact for Saga’s panel members to discuss required action and case outcomes.
- Used to working in a varied and quick moving environment.
- Confident in their own abilities.
- Enthusiastic about change but sensitive to the effect of change on people and businesses.
