Role Responsibility
Responsibilities
- To set the marketing strategy and plan for Destinology to achieve lead volumes, revenue, margin and PBT objectives
- Lead the development and creation of annual marketing plans and budgets contributing to commercial business plans and manage the marketing spend and efficiency
- Lead the demand generation activity for Destinology, attracting new customers to plan
- Act as customer champion, understanding customer needs and driving change as necessary to ensure Destinology is a relevant, preferred brand
- Continual review and innovation of marketing techniques focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion digital capability and implementation of best practice across Destinology
- Continually keep abreast of market trends, competitive moves and customer expectations
- Lead relationships with external suppliers for Destinology – such as media, creative and digital agencies, building strong and supportive ways of working
- Coach, develop and manage the marketing team, ensuring the team have the right skills, competencies and are engaged.
- Supporting the marketing team to remove blockers and processes that make life difficult, and create a fun and rewarding environment to work in
- Developing a plan to test non-digital channels such as press, TV, radio and outdoor
- Strategizing and delivering all online (social, search and display) media management
- Reporting and analysis of all paid media campaigns
- Management and forecasting of large Google Ads budgets
- Develop and manage new paid social strategy
- Plan & Implement brand awareness campaigns across Google Display Network, Instagram, Facebook & YouTube advertising from planning all the way through to implementation
- Testing campaigns to improve conversion levels including the implementation of a testing programme across all digital channels reallocating campaign spend as appropriate
- Ongoing reporting and review of activity to ensure our cost of acquisition is reduced as per the agreed KPIs
- Look for new acquisition channels and opportunities
- Developing customer segmentation models and CRM strategies to maximise customer retention and spend via a range of marketing channels including email, paid social, and direct mail
- Planning and delivering CRM strategies across the company encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty.
- Deciding on the CRM platform structure and architecture ensuring it works seamlessly across the organisation and captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle.
- Customer Journey Mapping analysing touch points with the organisation and maximising commercial opportunities.

Capability, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven ability to develop and implement a successful marketing strategy
- Proven change management skills, including the ability to constantly seek out and capitalise on new opportunities
- Digitally savvy with an understanding of, and desire to exploit new and emerging marketing channels and tools
- Highly numerate and literate with a strong commercial focus
- Well-developed communication and leadership skills, able to operate in a fast decision-making and entrepreneurial environment
- High integrity, capable of driving and implementing change
- Proven track record of adding value through the delivery of marketing excellence
- Ability to deliver credibility, winning the respect and co-operation of colleagues at all levels
- Highly collaborative and seeks to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Confidence to challenge to drive best outcomes
- Adaptability to adjust and review plans when faced with obstacles and challenges in order to achieve a solution
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced commercial environment

- You will be confident and experienced in leading and managing a team.
Education and Qualifications
- Graduate calibre, Ideally holding CIM/IDM postgraduate diploma in marketing or similar

This role is an important leadership role within the Marketing team. You will bring high-level marketing expertise that will enable you to champion the needs of the customer and create a best-in-class marketing function – leading the Destinology marketing team and providing clear direction.
