FT – 35 hours per week

Hybrid – Home and Hub; London & Ashford

Saga are keen to appoint an experienced administrator to support our Director of Investor Relations & Treasury.

The Investor Relations team is the primary interface between Saga plc and the financial community (institutional and retail shareholders, debt holders, sell-side and buy-side analysts) and is focused on ensuring the Company’s overall strategy is well understood by external stakeholders.

As the Investor Relations Administrator you will be involved in creating effective materials to convey the Saga story by means of press releases, power point presentations, interacting with key stakeholders on a one-to-one basis, and representing the Company at various investor conferences throughout the year.

Next to this external focus, the Investor Relations team is responsible for keeping executive management and the Board abreast of developments impacting the capital markets and the trading of Saga plc securities.

You’ll be a key contributor to the facilitation and creation of public events and disclosures on the Company performance and key initiatives.

 *You will be required to visit the London and/or Ashford Saga Hubs a few times each week. Candidates applying will need to be in a commutable distance to ensure they are able to visit these Hubs as and when required by the business.

Role Responsibility

In this role as the Investor Relations Administrator you will need to deliver a high quality, reliable and efficient service to the team, supporting with servicing the needs of both the financial community and our other key stakeholders. This is a varied and interesting role, which includes a corporate annual cycle of key events, you will;

  • Support the creation of presentations, press releases and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors.
  • Project manage the production of the Annual Report in conjunction with other relevant business areas.
  • Manage the busy diary for our Director of Investor Relations.
  • Organise and attend key events such as our bi-annual results presentations, road shows, Annual General Meeting and investor meetings.
  • Support with, and initial drafting of, regular and results-focused Board updates.
  • Manage all aspects of Retail shareholder concerns/queries, responding directly and supporting our share registrar.
  • Liaise as necessary with the company’s retained stockbrokers, investment bankers and financial PR advisors.
  • Review and update of the corporate and shareholder-facing websites.
  • Support with budget management through continual tracking of spend, raising of purchase orders and co-ordination of invoices.
  • Management of the shareholder database, including updating with meeting notes and recent investor interaction.
  • Co-ordination of competitor analysis, including support for the team in preparing financial metrics and insightful commentary.
  • In time, serve as a point of contact for the investment community.
  • Always follow our Business Code of Conduct and acting with integrity and due diligence.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to receive applications from candidates who have been exposed to senior admin support roles such as EA / PA and have the confidence to support and engage with our c-suite and investors. You will also need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Have a strong work ethic, with understanding of extended working hours during peak periods.
  • Demonstrate an outstanding organisation and prioritisation mindset with the ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Agility to work within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to deliver information in a concise way. (Expert user across MS 365 packages, specifically PowerPoint).
  • Excellent influencing and relationship building skills. Able to quickly establish credibility by winning respect and co-operation.
  • Willingness to question and challenge.
  • Extreme attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
