Lead Marketing Executive
Job Introduction
It’s an exciting time at Saga Travel Group as we plan to relaunch our product range and overall proposition in 2023. In this role, you would contribute and develop integrated marketing campaigns for our hosted hotel and tailor-made product range and build online and offline journeys that deliver on business KPIs.
Role Responsibility
- Support the Marketing Manager to build monthly and quarterly marketing plans with integrated online and offline campaigns.
- Writing creative and campaign briefs for marketing communications and CRM activity, using customer and market insight.
- Maintaining relationships and implementing creating marketing assets for our travel partners including airlines, hotels and tourist boards.
- Identifying advertising and revenue opportunities with our travel partners
- Partnering with our Product and Trading teams to understand priorities for short- and long-term marketing support.
- Reviewing agency/in-house studio responses to briefs, providing feedback and securing approval from stakeholders.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to set campaign KPIs, ensuring tracking is in place and briefing the business and sales team before go-live.
- Reporting on campaign KPIs, iterating any plans as appropriate and building learnings into subsequent briefs.
- Keeping up to date with marketing and customer trends. Ensuring regular reporting on competitor activity and spend.
- Liaising with the rest of the travel marketing teams to ensure alignment in our creative and proactive of clash management.
- Delivering projects on time. Communicating any blockers or delays in a timely way, and problem solving as necessary.
- Supporting the travel team with campaigns during busy seasonal periods.
- Keeping PR teams up to date with news and developments at Saga Holidays.
- Identifying advertising and revenue opportunities with our travel partners
- Owning personal development and proactively looking for opportunities to enhance skills or identify training needs.
The Ideal Candidate
- B2B marketing communications experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Prioritisation skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
- An eye for detail and highly passionate about travel
- Ability to work to and champion brand guidelines
- Writing insight-driven creative and campaign briefs
- On and offline media channel knowledge
- Integrated campaign planning
- Internal and external campaign implementation
