Marketing Campaign Manager

And right now, we are looking for a Campaign Manager to join our Insurance Marketing team in a maternity cover position. In this role, you will be the strategic architect of our brand, campaigns, and evergreen platforms, sitting at the intersection of ideas, media, and integrated communications delivery. You will partner closely with others, both within the team, the wider Saga Group, and agencies to ensure our brand, initiatives and programmes are properly integrated across the journeys and channels that best meet our marketing and business goals. 

You will be a strategist with a creative heart and an analytical mind who can contextualise an idea within the right channels and ensure that brand, creative execution, and media all work in perfect harmony. You will bring previous experience of working in a regulated business and a hands-on approach to work.

Please note, this is a fixed term contract maternity cover position for up to 9 months. 

Role Responsibility

  • Support the Insurance Marketing team in navigating Saga's rebrand  
  • Cement business cases relating to advertising and diverse media mix  
  • Upweight all strategic trading programmes   
  • Elevation of creative standards and outputs  
  • Help to support strategic communication cohesiveness across marketing teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strategic experience in marketing, advertising, digital or media agency and/or client organisation 
  • Demonstrable experience in a comms planning, media planning, digital strategy, or a social planning role 
  • Experience with integrated advertising campaigns across multiple media channels and marketing touchpoints and the ability to show its impact on the brand 
  • Experience presenting to and challenging directors and senior management 
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable working at a detailed level when needed 
  • Project management skills – able to lead and manage projects across both partners and Saga 
  • Sound creative judgement across brand, direct response, and engagement 
  • Ability to use insights to drive greater connection with customers 
  • Demonstrable experience analysing campaign performance and an understanding of the role analytics plays in selling and measuring ideas 
  • Well organised and detail oriented 
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
