We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our dynamic Saga Insurance business unit. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of our performance marketing strategy and achieving key commercial targets.
In this hands-on position, you will support the Performance Marketing team in executing highly effective acquisition campaigns that contribute directly to the commercial success of the Saga Insurance product portfolio. Working closely with Performance Marketing Leads, you will help manage day-to-day acquisition activity, oversee performance agencies, and coordinate the production of marketing content.
As Saga continues its transformation journey, this role will play an instrumental part in driving growth through a data-driven, test-and-learn approach. You will collaborate across teams to implement a performance roadmap focused on continuous optimisation and innovation. Success in this position will rely on your ability to combine analytical insight with creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
*Hybrid working, your allocated Hub will be London, King's Cross or Folkestone, Enbrook. You will need to be willing to commute to the London and Folkestone hubs as required, typically 1-2 times a month. Travel to locations that are not your base hub is expensed.
Role Responsibility
- Support the day-to-day delivery of digital acquisition activities across paid search (PPC), paid social, programmatic, and affiliate channels to ensure KPIs and commercial targets are achieved.
- Manage the circulation and approval process for internal marketing materials.
- Coordinate the supply of approved creative assets to media agencies and support quality assurance across paid search, paid social, display, native, and press channels.
- Assist with annual website article renewals and content updates to maintain relevance and accuracy.
- Support reporting and performance analysis of online marketing channels using multiple data sources and market insights, including Google Trends, Adobe Analytics, SA360, and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with the E-commerce team to deliver regular performance deep dives, shaping a data-driven roadmap for campaign optimisation and new initiatives.
- Work closely with the wider marketing, product, and creative teams to align messaging and customer value propositions throughout the customer journey, reflecting Saga’s core brand message, “Experience is Everything.”
- Contribute to wider business initiatives and projects, including developing new campaign proposals, supporting product launches, and assessing the performance impact of regulatory changes.
- Ensure all customer-facing communications and propositions are fully compliant and adhere to the Marketing Approvals Process.
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll bring a strong blend of analytical ability, commercial awareness, and creative thinking, with working experience in performance or digital marketing. You’re motivated by results, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can turn data and insight into actionable marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in a performance or digital marketing role.
- Experience coordinating multi-channel campaigns across PPC, display, affiliates, and social media.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using reporting platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and/or programmatic networks is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align business goals and customer needs into a clear, actionable digital marketing roadmap.
- Experience within the Financial Services sector is desirable.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to respond quickly to change and new opportunities.
