Marketing Executive (Fixed Term Contract until October 2019)

This role is an important part of the Marketing team who strive to facilitate, to help and support the Services function of the business.

In this role you will manage marketing compliance at all levels, with brand and regulatory standards. You will assist with delivering key projects and ensure all marketing activities are on time and to budget. Customer communication and customer journey development and innovation will be key to being successful in this role.

This is a fixed term contract position until October 2019.

Role Responsibility

To develop and implement a range of marketing marketing activities to existing customers and support key projects

  • Development of marketing communications collateral (including product literature, direct mail, online content etc).
  • Briefing and liaising with internal studio, mailing and fulfilment house and Print Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials. 
  • Stock management for all fulfilment items including briefing and liaising with mailing house.
  • Development and implementation of marketing campaigns, communication plans and CATs projects. This will include production of campaign/ communication proposals and analysis to track performance against expectation. 
  • Internal communication - briefing product and marketing information to sales, customer services and customer relations.
  • Proactively ensuring that all internal communication opportunities are maximised.
  • Responsibilities for ensuring the correct approvals are obtained for all marketing communications, and subsequent FCA procedures are adhered to.
  • Conduct timely and accurate competitor research.
  • Proactively initiate brainstorming, research and development of new marketing initiatives.
  • Where appropriate, incorporate successful tests into established activity to ensure the ongoing achievement of targets.
  • Assist where necessary complaint enquiries (internal and external). 

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks and campaigns to achieve deadlines and targets
  • The ability to work well within a team 
  • The ability to analyse and communicate information effectively 
  • Knowledge of a wide range of Marketing and Direct Marketing principles and techniques is desirable
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience of stakeholder management

Education & Qualifications

  • Marketing degree and/or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage
