Job Introduction

Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, this role brings together the day-to-day maintenance and management of the online consumer journey (principally updating and maintaining the website); including email campaigns using adobe, ensuring digital consistency for product initiatives

Role Responsibility

Website content for titantravel.co.uk (sitecore)

  • Ensure the site is fully operational as the ‘shop front’ of Titan Travel in a responsive and professional manner
  • Ensure online content is up to date, engaging and well presented
  • Responsible for building widgets, uploading images and promoting tours with agreed response metrics
  • Liaising with studio re tone, voice and visuals
  • Supporting the company’s platforms for growth with a content strategy
  • Maintain site hygiene re logos, credentials, governance and any industry regulations
  • Update ‘how to’ guides for knowledge repository
  • Liaise with immediate team re analytics, site performance, media code generation and other mechanisms used to monitor campaign performance
  • Maintain key relationships in the Group to ensure developer resources are effectively and efficiently utilised

 

Email marketing

  • Using Adobe Campaign proactively to instigate campaigns in collaboration with other team members around copy, creative, links, promo codes, landing pages and maintain allocated campaigns to market to customers
  • Demonstrate effectiveness with report metrics around purchasing, returning behaviour and engagement
     

User Generated Content

  • Develop and maintain the relationship with Titan’s main review partner, Reevoo
    • Effective account management
    • Support for other internal users of Reevoo including, customer services, sales, product executives and the studio
  • Ensure that reviews are well presented online and effectively used in omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Support the Marketing Assistant and the wider business in contributing, maintaining, responding and promoting social media channels including, but not exclusively, facebook, twitter and instagram

Other duties

  • Planning and delivery of initiatives to recognise and reward Titan’s most loyal customers; including competitions and events
  • Support other websites within Titan including, but not exclusively, the trade site, drivers site and the careers pages
  • Support the Marketing Assistant in maintaining Titan’s chosen charity’s wordpress site

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Track record of delivery in a cross-marketing environment; ideally in the travel industry
  • Considerable experience in online content generation, engagement techniques and reporting tools, analytic tools – specifically google and adobe
  • Familiarity with SEO, PPC and other online optimisation and promotional tools to enable full online support for cross-team activity in this area

Education and Qualifications:

  • Graduate calibre, ideally holding CIM postgraduate diploma in marketing/IDM digital marketing diploma (or similar)
  • Full driving licence

  • Excellent at building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business, specifically including the developer team at a Group level, based at Saga

  • Able to see both the ‘big picture’ but also manage detailed project implementations

  • Evidence an entrepreneurial, proactive approach; able to spot commercial/marketing opportunities and act on them

  • Able to juggle simultaneous tasks across different channels and stakeholder groups
  • Enthusiasm for supporting internal and external events and to engage with customers F2F at events, on trips, via email/online/social (the successful candidate will be required to work outside core business hours as required)
