Come and join us in our start-up business model inside Saga! Saga Spaces has just launched - July 2023! We now need a new addition for our digital marketing team.  

In this role you will be key to supporting the delivery of growth for Saga through support & execution of marketing activities for Saga Spaces. You will report directly to our Innovation Marketing & CRM Manager. We are a small but growing marketing team, at the start of our exciting journey, inside Saga Plc.

You will be responsible for supporting the campaign planning and delivery of relevant customer communications for our customers. You will be able to review and report marketing data for our multi-channel campaigns. In fact, in this team you will have an opinion and the platform to try new ideas and approaches to campaigns.

You will be working alongside creative marketeers to deliver communications which are fit-for-purpose and on brand.

We need you to be open to learning new skills, such as CRM tools; to build and execute multi-channel integrated campaigns, using a combination of Email and digital deliveries, utilising dynamic content and automation where possible to deliver exceptional messages to our customers.

Our team interacts with the Saga Spaces team as well as the brand team, the magazine team and digital teams to ensure we have an integrated, multi-channel approach to our campaigns, sending the right message, to the right customer, at the right time and via the right channel.

** Remote/home working ** Saga work a hybrid approach requiring some team days in our King Cross - London office. 2 days a month. You will need to be in reasonable commuting distance to travel to London when required.  

Role Responsibility

As the Marketing Executive for Saga Spaces. You will be responsible for the following;

  • Coordinating development and build of customer acquisition and engagement journey for Saga Spaces.
  • To monitor campaign efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with marketing performance targets in the light of current trading and recommend any action which may be necessary to ensure that these targets are met.
  • Help to shape the CRM action plan and work with the team to plan and execute campaigns that deliver to requirements.
  • Fully utilise the tools and data available to design and deliver multi-channel campaigns covering all areas of communications.
  • Planning, creating and executing multi-channel, automated campaigns, including email, social, digital and print.

The Ideal Candidate

You could have graduated from university and now be keen to gain your first FT role in a Digital Marketing team or you may have already worked in digital marketing, but now have the passion for new challenges. You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and accuracy and the importance of this in a marketing team.
  • Have some knowledge and understanding of CRM campaigns in a B2C environment, from inception through to analysis.
  • Demonstrate planning and organisation skills for project management.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Be independent and highly self-motivated with the desire to develop and learn new marketing tools.
  • Be naturally analytical with marketing data with excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Can demonstrate your ambition and enthusiasm to support a busy fast paced marketing team.  
  • Have a good understanding of customer journeys, retention, interaction and touchpoints.
  • Confidence to be involved in strategy meetings where the CMO / CEO / COO could be present.

Desirable;

  • Working knowledge of mailchimp, adobe campaign and target.
