Partnership Account Executive

Playing a crucial part within our Membership team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our partners to ensure we uphold an exclusive portfolio of offers that have been created purely for Saga Members.
This role is focussed on achieving exclusive and bespoke partner offers and managing the relationships created with third parties to an outstanding level to ensure long term and strategic partnerships are developed for the benefit of the Membership programme.
Assisting the Partnership Manger and Head of Commercial, you will pro-actively manage and take sole ownership of new and existing accounts, while identifying new opportunities to ensure all the best possible outcomes are achieved for the Membership scheme.
You will be commercially astute and have the ability to communicate and influence effectively at a senior level, as well as having the skills to deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Role Responsibility
- To assist the Partnerships Manager and Head of Commercial with day to day partner management across the portfolio of accounts in addition to taking sole ownership and responsibility for a number of accounts
- To monitor performance, collect and analyse MI and generate reports on partner performance for internal and external consumption, including; offer redemption, revenue generation and general MI
- Ability to present findings, update key stakeholders on offer performance and make recommendations
- To assist the Partnership Manager in new partner negotiations and onboarding
- To complete set up process for all new partners; from contract signing to ‘go live’ including but not limited to; due diligence process, obtaining copy and other marketing assets, agreeing redemption process, marketing and online promotion, MI collection
- To manage and raise invoices as applicable
- To create a regular and structured partnership management process, which will include but is not limited to regular calls and face to face updates with partners to review performance, agree actions to drive performance and address day to day requirements, as well as influence conversations to achieve outputs to benefit Saga’s business
- To make decisions with confidence relating to product or supplier relationships, often in short or high pressure situations.
- To maintain an awareness of the competitor landscape and comparable loyalty schemes and market offers to make relevant recommendations for the development of Possibilities
- To work closely with the Possibilities Marketing team to identify opportunities to promote partner offers and to support with monthly themes
- To also review performance of marketing activity and make relevant recommendations
- To assist with dealing with any customer queries relating to partner redemptions or complaints and to aid in reaching a resolution of these
- To work closely with the wider Possibilities and other internal teams to provide all information required for on-going offer management
- To be responsible for the sales performance of each account and to identify opportunities for growth within the portfolio
- To support wider Commercial colleagues with the creation of offers and to support the experiences programme
The Ideal Candidate
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Commercially astute
- Ability to present analysis, make recommendations and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong MS Office skills
- Previous account management experience desirable
Education and Qualifications
- Good Secondary education
