And right now, we are looking for someone to be responsible for the scheduling of resources to meet project delivery demands, who fit the below description.
I leverage my stakeholder management skills to gain early insight into resource needs, using a micro lens on the key investments. I produce insight & ensure that information is fit for purpose and seek to continually enhance the view available to senior stakeholders. I do this through gathering intelligence and ensuring robust challenge where appropriate to get the right information & outcomes. I build alliances & networks to enable me to foresee challenges & put mitigating actions in motion. I also identify and lead on opportunities for continuous improvement. I will have a keen interest in the relationships between projects, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are proactively managed by the project management community in order to protect the health of the overall portfolio.
Role Responsibility
- All resource plans in relation to the delivery of Insurance Change initiatives
- Understanding demand for skill types, highlighting issues & blockages that may impact successful delivery
- Leading key meetings in relation to planning & resourcing with a range of varied stakeholders
- Provide future resource forecasting to ensure the delivery function is set up for success
- Provide analysis of estimate to actual, enabling intelligence that will increase planning safety
- Acting as a custodian of change management best practice for Insurance
- Identifying opportunity for process and best practice efficiency & improvement, taking in the lead in putting these into opportunities in place
- Participation in gate reviews at appropriate junctures for key projects, ensuring projects are both set up for success and ready to move into the next phase of their lifecycle
- Maintain & seek the continuous improvement of change systems & tools
