Salary £23,000 to £25,000 DoE

We are expanding our Product Production Team! We are looking for 2 new online Product Inventory Executives to join our UK based production team. In this role you will be key to loading accurate contract terms, specified agreements, dates along with costs to create costs files onto our system; Tigerbay.  

Working in this role, your attention to detail and accuracy is critical. You will be ultimately responsible for ensuring the efficient set up and costing of all products, making sure system data and structure is always correct, and contribute to ongoing Tigerbay improvement and implementation for the business.

These roles would suit applicants who have a keen eye for detail and precision, plus a love for all things travel of course!

** Hybrid working; Typically, Home 3 days / Office 2 days. The Saga Travel Group Hubs are located at Crawley and Ashford. You can select a preferred hub location as your base office.

Role Responsibility

Our Product Inventory Executive will be fully accountable for the following tasks;

  • To liaise with Ground and Air Purchasing/Contracting for required product information. To ensure that the information is clear and complete for purpose.
  • To ensure that products are accurately set up and maintained in the Tigerbay system and in accordance with any production schedule/ SLAs in force at all times.
  • To answer queries and improve communication from internal suppliers.
  • To build excellent internal relationships.
  • To investigate and resolve any set up issues/errors.
  • To manage Tigerbay tasks within service standard taking a tenacious approach to fixing and resolving root cause.
  • Working awareness of other team members’ workloads in order to assist with queries in their absence.
  • To take part in project work to ensure ongoing system and process improvements.
  • To ensure the accurate costing of all holidays.
  • Liaise with Product/Revenue Management teams to ensure that packages and costings are accurately loaded in Tigerbay in a timely manner.
  • Ensure new itineraries are built for new promotions and any amendments are actioned efficiently and actioned via booking amendment system.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of products in order to make valued decisions regarding the product operation and the impact of any effect that an unforeseeable event may have.
  • Take on adhoc processes as required, which may involve investigating and researching system processes or changes and confidently give feedback to the relevant team.
  • Build knowledge and understanding of multiple brand requirements to enable cross functional working of the system.

The Ideal Candidate

This is a unique opportunity within the Travel Industry. You may already have experience as an itinerary/inventory loader, have worked in Travel Sales or be keen to start your Travel Career in the Saga production teams.

Candidates wishing to apply will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience to join our growing team;

  • Have previously worked in a busy high functioning admin role working on bespoke systems, ideally with Tigerbay knowledge or something similar.
  • Have either working knowledge or an understanding of Air and Land contracts and terminology used.
  • Can demonstrate attention to detail and ideally be familiar with the level of accuracy needed for reservation platforms.
  • Problem solving ability and commercially astute.
  • Creative thinker and able to identify opportunities.
  • Highly organised and an excellent communicator.
  • Accustomed to working to deadlines and in a fast-paced business environment.
