As Programme Implementation Manager you will lead implementation planning and execution for the Saga Insurance team.
Following Saga’s recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation planning and execution of a large-scale migration involving various projects and systems within our organization.
As our Programme Implementation Manager , you will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. As the Programme Implementation Manager , you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the implementation process aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
We offer flexibility over where you work – you choose a place where you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs. There will be an occasional need to collaborate for workshops in person in London or the South East.
Role Responsibility
As a Programme Implementation Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects and systems at Programme level
Other accountabilities will include:
- Oversee the implementation of projects and systems at Programme level
- Define and manage the implementation processes (Go/No Go, Schedule of Events, Business Readiness etc)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Communicate implementation status to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project documentation.
- Lead and motivate implementation project team.
- Ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Programme Implementation Manager will have proven experience with successful data migration projects and implementation delivery within the Financial Service industry.
Other skills required would include:
- Proven experience in large scale migrations and cutovers
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation.
