And right now, we are looking for two Project Managers to join us in our Central Change team. In this role, you will collaborate with all areas across the business and providing project management expertise to support Saga’s key strategic objectives. 

These key positions are a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of change projects which will transform Saga. You will gain deep insight into travel and enabling functions and inform and manage through digital, brand and automation efficiency. 

You will bring strong project management experience with a clear understanding of the project lifestyle. You will have taken real ownership in previous roles and been able to meet challenges and resolve them.

Role Responsibility

  • Proven project and change management experience, developing and managing the project plan from initiation to transition, together with the governance process, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on their role and responsibilities 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, to understand and scope / define the project and overall deliverables, resources, and budget to deliver 
  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of change management tools and techniques to underpin the change journey, collaborating with other project managers to look for opportunities to consolidate change activity to minimise disruption to BAU 
  • Demonstrated experience of continually looking to improve project delivery and manage projects and resources such that demonstrable continuous improvement is achieved across all elements of process and output 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong project management experience 
  • Have a clear understanding of the project lifestyle 
  • Demonstrable experience of taking ownership in previous roles 
  • An ability to meet and resolve challenges 
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Knowledge of brand, digitalisation or process efficiency would be an advantage 
  • Proficiency in MS suite (ideally including MS Project)
