…And right now, we are looking for an RPA Developer to join us. In this role you'll be responsible creating robust, scalable automations in line with best practice.

You will have a continuous learning mindset, ensuring you're are keeping up to date with new releases of UiPath to maximise Saga’s use of the software.

This role will be instrumental in driving automation within the Saga Group to support strategic objectives, in growing the business, increasing efficiencies and delivering an exceptional customer journey.

Role Responsibility

  • Review business processes alongside the business analyst to establish if they are suitable for RPA
  • Support the re-engineering of processes to remove waste and allow automation
  • Digest business requirements and establish technical requirements
  • Design, build and test RPA projects using desired robotics software
  • Develop high quality (RPA) software solutions, in line with best practice
  • Maintain relevant documentation for all projects created
  • Provide technical support during UAT and implementation phases.
  • Support with the maintenance of deployed projects, troubleshooting if issues are identified
  • Act as a subject expert on RPA in support of other delivery teams
  • Undertake peer code reviews

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
  • Experienced with UI Path or similar software
  • Familiarity with software implementation cycles
  • Ability to simplify and concisely convey complex ideas
  • A broad experience in supporting or developing across a diverse tech stack including browser-based applications, java clients, and thick clients underpinned by SQL Server databases
  • Experienced in Visual Basic (VB)
  • IT development experience preferred but not essential

Education and Qualifications:

  • Good standard of secondary education
  • Lean, six sigma or continuous improvement training an advantage
