We’re looking for a new member of the team to join us as a Recruitment & Training Administrator.

As part of the Compliance team, you’ll work closely with Recruitment to ensure our Carers are on-boarded smoothly and are compliant against company and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. You’ll be in constant communication with candidates to support them through the recruitment process, as well as booking candidates on to training courses. You’ll be proactive, organised, have great attention to detail and be a confident communicator both verbally and written with the ability to use Excel and Microsoft office.

Role Responsibility

  • To request all references for all candidates applying to join our agency or business
  • To request all additional compliance paperwork and set up the carer files
  • To set up the Experian process to obtain credit check and Enhanced DBS application
  • To escalate in the appropriate manner any anomalies with the receipt/non- receipt of references
  • To hold securely all data relating to DBS checks for all employees and store in line with company DPA processes
  • Monitoring of risks identified and action plans to resolve, highlighting on-going concerns to the compliance manager
  • Undertake targeted audits under the direction of the Compliance Manager
  • Ensure candidate files are accurate and in line with the Recruitment and Compliance Policy
  • Administration duties as directed by the Compliance Manager
  • Attend all relevant meetings as required and undertake calibration testing across regional boundaries as required. If necessary supporting across all areas
  • Develop effective relationships with staff and key people both internal and external to the business in regard to the quality standards and quality improvement
  • All other duties as directed by the Compliance Manager

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Demonstrable competence in working within an administration support function
  • Be focused and able to work well under pressure and prioritise

Education and Qualifications:

  • Good standard of secondary education

Personal Characteristics:

  • Excellent communicator, both verbal, written and listening
  • Curious, Pragmatic and Flexible
  • Pro-active approach to work
  • Excellent time management and the ability to deal with several tasks at once
