And now we are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Lead to join our Business Assurance team, within the Insurance function. As Regulatory Reporting Lead you will collate and review regulatory reporting pertaining to customer outcomes/conduct risk, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the ever evolving regulatory landscape.

Insurance regulation is a fast growing field, with a constantly changing landscape - as Regulatory Reporting Lead you will be at the forefront of this growth within the business. You should be flexible and resilient, able to embrace change as it comes.  You are curious in nature with the ability to think fast on your feet, and able to come up with practical solutions to meet tight regulatory deadlines. You should be an exceptional communicator, confident at managing stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Role Responsibility

  • Collation and provision of timely accurate information, including executive summaries and results of investigations/analysis against relevant legal, regulatory and industry guidelines, with continued involvement and support in projects and new initiatives affecting the businesses outsourced activities
  • Preparation of reports, summaries and data for the business and regulators, including but not limited to Fair Value Measures & GI Value Measures reporting and review.
  • Applying latest compliance knowledge, to ensure regulatory reporting is in line with requirements and provides valuable insight to key stakeholders, supporting oversight and assurance that business activities are focused on good customer outcomes
  • Actively engaging with Group functions and respective Business Partners to ensure that our reporting activity aligns with the associated frameworks, promoting a standardised approach across the business and contributing to the continuous improvement
  • Identifying areas of potential conduct risk, investigating, and providing recommendations for improved business/operational/outsourced processes and/or controls, advocating quality and continuous Improvement
  • Acting as a point of contact for key Stakeholders and Business Leads, fostering a positive, open, and honest culture that prioritises good customer outcomes
  • Preparation of reports, summaries and data for regulators as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Highly organised, methodical, and ability to juggle a multitude of tasks and deadlines, whilst working under pressure
  • Demonstrable skills that foster a positive culture that prioritises good customer outcomes and shows high levels of engagement with the wider business.
  • High work ethic and drive, with the ability to self-manage
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Strong numeracy and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to challenge inconsistent looking information
  • Confident in presenting reports across all business levels and the ability to challenge key stakeholders, taking a logical, pragmatic, and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Experience of risk and compliance within a listed business or group function as part of second line
  • Strong report writing and experience in presenting
  • Familiarity of project management would be advantageous
