We now need a 10-month FTC cover for our Research Programme Executive who provides a lot of administrative support to the overall running of our Experience tracking programmes. You will already be passionate about the customer experience within a large organisation but also be a capable business administrator who can support on various tasks and projects.  

You will work closely with our Customer Experience Research Programme Manager on overall management and maintenance of our CX programmes, as well as with our Customer Insight Executives who are key to researching and building insight of all customer experience journeys and touch points across the business. In this role your support duties will be varied and interesting.

** Remote/home working ** Our Research and Insight Team at Saga have a hybrid approach; we have a set meeting once a month in our King Cross - London office with other ad-hoc requirements when necessary. You will need to be within a reasonable commuting distance to travel to one of our Hubs to undertake this role.

Role Responsibility

Working as our Research Programme Executive you will work in a team that covers a breadth of Brand Experience / Customer Experience reporting across the business, you will be responsible for the following tasks;  

  • Support the Research Programme Manager in the day-to-day management of Brand Experience and Customer Experience research programmes and projects.
  • Establish strict quality control of the programme and ensuring our supplier always maintains exceptional levels of service.
  • Support in the overall administration and maintenance of the programmes; process documents, maintain user guides/training material, oversee the co-ordination of the shared Brand Experience inbox.
  • Become a dashboard super-user and assist in providing training/ user engagement.
  • Co-ordinate with Insight Execs to manage the flow of action plan logs and update action case studies (to demonstrate where insights have been utilised in business initiatives and subsequent impact on CX).
  • Contribute in an agile manner to regular insight production (e.g. updating scorecards, assisting in insight visualisation, data interrogation and verbatim coding when required).
  • Assisting and supporting in ad hoc insight requests.
  • Taking ownership and maintaining quarterly overview scorecards for management packs.
  • Content management and general maintenance of Saga’s Insight portal.
  • Engagement content creation and uploads (e.g. to internal intranet site).
  • Co-ordinate the gathering of Key Business MI to support insight production.
  • Bring the outside in: pull in insights from a wide source of data and actively keep up to date with new approaches and techniques.
  • Manage and Optimise agency relationships, ensuring that Saga is always working with leading agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business as a trusted advisor.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for exceptional business administration skills for this role. You will need to demonstrate the following experience;

  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and requests with demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent co-ordination and administration skills.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with high level of numeracy.
  • Producing Insight not data, story-telling skills, ability to synthesise data from multiple sources.
  • Good communication skills. (Written and verbal)
  • Creative thinker – can pro-actively create engaging content to showcase our work and raise engagement levels.
  • Viewed as a trusted advisor and voice of the customer in the business.
  • Good networking skills: Management of stakeholder relationships to build positive alliances.
  • Curious and interested.
  • Understands the business, can evaluate threats and opportunities for the business.
  • Structured and well organised in approach.
  • Research Skills: Understands approaches and when to use them, basic questionnaire design skills
  • Literate in word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker.
  • Ability to self-manage workload and priorities.
