Revenue Management Executive
Job Introduction
In this key support role within the commercial team, you will optimise the Revenue generation for Saga Travel Group across our range of products. Implementing the strategy of the Group when Pricing, Forecasting, Budgeting, and reporting on all the key aspects of the role. This is an excellent role for someone looking to develop a career in Commercial, with opportunities to progress and grow.
Role Responsibility
- Assist in generating and inputting the pricing of new and updated products within the reservation system (Tigerbay).
- Assist with the brochure production, including inputting holiday dates and prices into the system (Filemaker).
- Assist with providing prices and offers to the marketing team to support marketing activity.
- Responding to Price Promise queries from customers.
- Responding to Room requests from customers.
- Contribute to the review of pricing, capacity, and margins on a periodic basis.
- Assist with the identification of system and data errors.
- Support the revenue managers, creating space for them to make sound pricing decisions which further improve the commercial performance of STG.
The Ideal Candidate
- Highly numerate, with good Excel skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Displays commercial acumen to understand the impact of their decisions.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and logical thinking.
- Experience of the systems used, Reservation system (Tigerbay), Brochure production (Filemaker) and Revenue Management (Alytic).
- Experience working in the Travel industry or Revenue Management in an alternative industry. However, the role would also be great for a recent graduate, who loves working with numbers.
