And right now, we are looking for a Revenue Manager to join us. Reporting to the Commercial Director and working to assigned regions or product types, this role will manage the commercial performance of all Titan products, to ensure that revenue, passenger and margin targets are achieved.

You will be a qualified professional, ideally with experience in the Travel/ Tour operations sector and be looking to expand your knowledge of the industry. You will bring excellent communication skills as you work with colleagues from across the business of all levels to compile the information needed for the success of your role.

Role Responsibility

  • Set strategic pricing for all products and manage pricing in line with demand on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure inventory is opened & available at the right time to meet demand and deliver the plan whilst minimising risk.
  • Review, track and analyse the market in terms of trends and competitor activity to ensure pricing is positioned to maximise demand and brand positioning.
  • Deliver regular forecasts (passenger, revenue & margin) by product and destination in order to ensure demand trends are optimised and the plan is delivered.
  • Represent product areas within the trading discussions to ensure products receive the relevant sales & marketing actions to deliver passenger and revenue needs and address risks to margin performance.
  • Champion and highlight areas where continued business efficiencies exist to improve profit and price points.
  • Create tactical or strategic promotions / offers to support brand initiatives.
  • Accountable for all committed air risk from sign off / approval to ensuring air commitment opportunities are maximised and risk minimised through reporting, communication to the business and supporting business actions.
  • Build effective relationship with peers to deliver the PFG trading plan
  • Work closely with colleagues in Product,Studio, Marketing, Aviation & Production to deliver existing processes and drive sales actions.
  • Produce and update all pricing grids in the CMS ready for studio production.
  • To sign off brochure and other artwork for pricing accuracy ensuring offers are in line with relevant legislation and the achievement of commercial goals.
  • Provide operations support to Sales & Sales support in regard to customer queries regarding inventory, or pricing.
  • Willingly support and carry out any other commercial duties where appropriate in line with the company Employee Handbook.

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of working with pricing and yield or commercial processes preferably within a tour operating, airline or cruise environment.
  • Highly numerate and ability to monitor trends and patterns in business performance.
  • Ability to work under pressure, working to deadlines and prioritising accordingly.
  • Good Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience and confidence of yield lead meetings.
  • Ability to make decisions with confidence or identify when an issue should be escalated.
  • Persuasion, negotiation, reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Educated to A Level or similar.

 

Personal Characteristics:

  • Pro-active and confident
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player whilst be able to self motivate activities within own product area.
