...And right now, we are looking for a Risk Lead within our Insurance Marketing team. You will support the team with embedding continuous improvement culture by streamlining and documenting business processes as well as shaping and implementing best practices across the business.

Role Responsibility

  • Lead on defining, designing and mapping SAGA Insurance Services and SAGA Personal Finance business processes and deliver improvement initiatives that will result in tangible benefits to the business.
  • Be a highly collaborative person with the ability to negotiate, manage relationships and drive improvement across business areas including Marketing, Customer Proposition & Product, Change, IT, Conduct Risk and Enterprise Risk.
  • Actively contribute to Marketing MI and Regulatory Risk MI
  • Support and guide teams across SAGA Insurance Services and SAGA Personal Finance to identify, address and eliminate risks within all processes.
  • Make recommendations where control failures or weaknesses are identified to ensure risks are mitigated
  • Demonstrate an overall understanding of regulatory risk across Insurance Marketing and customer touchpoints.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting improvement in complex processes within Marketing, Product, change-based communications and/or Regulatory consultancy.
  • An ability to analyse, interpret, structure and present information in a meaningful way to provide insights to inform key business decisions.
  • Experience with integrated campaign delivery across multiple internal touchpoints and channels; with proven ability on its impact to reduce risk and/or meet regulatory requirements through testing.
  • Considerable experience working within matrix teams within regulatory and financial services environment/s 
  • Experience in using and evolving business processes to reduce faults and change requests and minimise costs/maximise delivery solutions.
  • Experience in engaging with risk and governance experts to identify, address and mitigate areas of risk within the business
  • Understanding of best use of user testing frameworks required for right-first-time solutions
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data integrity best practices is a plus
  • Strong levels of multi-tasking, prioritisation, and solution-oriented approaches
  • An ability to work collaboratively across functions and able to demonstrate professionalism, credibility and be a respected and reliable representative of Saga
