Role Responsibility

• Support the implementation of the sales growth strategy through team members, ensuring they achieve monthly personal and team targets for each of the businesses

• Explore and initiate new ideas to increase revenue within the Sales function

• To support the successful implementation of a new Sales CRM and produce insightful business intelligence to guide marketing strategy

• Monitor and coach the team to deliver effective inbound / outbound sales with a view to maximising overall sales performance through nurturing leads

• Provide clear measures and objectives that meet the needs of the team, business and customers.

• Day to day management, motivation, and monitoring of the team

• Production of daily/weekly/monthly reports and analysis in order to recognise sales trends, performance against target and maximise relevant activity

• Ensure all sales leads are followed up in a timely fashion

• Ensure processes and procedures are in place to effectively measure customer feedback

• Effectively liaise with other areas of the business to drive sales

• Ensure the Management team is aware of issues and proposed solutions

• Provide feedback on competitor activity and market intelligence

• Hand-on approach to people management and achieving service levels

• To lead and motivate your team and direct reports to ensure they are giving their best at all times.

• Recruitment of staff as and when required

• To have excellent teamwork within the Sales Teams

• Excellent customer service skills, to ensure exquisite service is offered to all clients

The Ideal Candidate

• Exceptional customer call handling skill

• A track record of delivering results & exceeding/stretching targets

• Strong team player with the ability to work as an individual

• Ability to deal with difficult customer conversations when they arise

• Ability to influence and negotiate

• Ability to work towards targets and deadlines

• Knowledge of the sales business model and services needs

• A coaching style that will help others to develop their own skills and knowledge

• Commercial awareness

• Experience analysing sales performance

• Delivering and getting the best out of a new Sales CRM system (preferred).
