We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM marketer to join our Group CVM team. We’ve got some big projects in 2019/20 for you to help us with. Using Adobe Campaign we’re transforming some of our marketing activity, so a vision for how to execute marketing campaigns in new ways is essential.

You will be involved in building, executing, planning and designing data selections predominantly for mail and email activity in our new tool. It’s a varied and interesting role, where attention to detail and an appetite to continuously evolve and improve what we do are key. You’re likely to work on several uniquely different campaigns as well as supporting us with several projects.

We’re looking for someone with previous data selection, journey planning and analysis skills. Excellent team-working skills are a must.  As a Senior CRM Executive, you’ll be expected to deputise for your line manager when necessary and take ownership and responsibility for delivering work to a high standard, often to tight deadlines.

Role Responsibility

  • Create multi-channel data selects using Adobe campaign
  • Ensuring all campaigns and activities are fully tagged, tracked and evaluated
  • Managing multiple complex projects concurrently, tracking progress and success
  • Planning & building complex multi-channel customer journeys
  • Stock management for marketing communications material and liaising with mailing house
  • Incorporating successful tests into established activity
  • Supervise marketing communications carried out by Marketing Executives
  • Assist where necessary with customer complaint enquiries
  • Deputise for line manager
  • UAT on the campaigns to ensure the data is flowing correctly, the customer journey is working as per expectations and analyse the campaign performance
  • Analyse data and implement findings for use in marketing campaign

  • Lead generation and response volumes
  • Marketing communications development and innovation
  • Increased awareness among the public
  • Marketing compliance, at all levels, with brand and regulatory standards

The Ideal Candidate

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous direct marketing experience. Especially understanding of selection techniques, targeting, optimisation, measurement and analysis
  • Experience selecting, running and checking data
  • Experience in A/B testing and analysis
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience working to tight timelines in a project environment, able to prioritise
  • Experience working across complex businesses and managing different stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Saga’s current systems and processes
  • A good understanding of marketing
  • Experience using Adobe Campaign
  • Good Excel skills

Education and Qualifications:

  • Good Secondary education
