Senior Commercial Executive

Role Responsibility

  • Work with the Motor Panel Manager to manage Net pricing through Panel Insurer Management.
  • Work with the Product Development team to manage and develop market-leading insurance products incorporating key TCF principles.
  • Work within commercial relationships with suppliers and compliance to ensure adherence to FCA guidelines and that Saga strive to treat customers fairly (TCF)
  • Involvement in all areas of product management & product development.
  • Deliver product development and enhancements to business plan, and update TCF reports and forms as appropriate.
  • Project management, with particular focus on cross-functional team working within the CATS programme.
  • Supplier relations -  management of supplier related issues and delivery of projects.
  • Help to manage customer retention, highlighting areas to be improved and delivering process and document changes.
  • Technical and management input into complaints handling, including intervention where necessary to ensure the fair and effective resolution of customer disputes.
  • Delivery of accurate and up to date insurance and product documentation
  • Management of competitor and industry research and analysis, including the maintaining of price competitiveness consistent with the Saga brand through market comparisons and actuarial liaison.
  • Work with the PR team to push product highlights & benefits into the public eye whenever possible.
  • Work closely with internal and external departments including Underwriting, Actuarial, Customer Relations, Marketing, IT and IOS teams.
  • Issue required MI in a timely manner within SLA’s.
  • Analyse data to uncover key drivers which could lead to improved Net rate pricing.
  • Coordinate, produce and analyse MI, to manage the performance of the Panel, mainly using Microsoft Excel.
  • Management of compliance process to ensure customers are treated fairly
  • Produce and analyse Insurer MI.
  • Implementation of commercial developments and enhancements, derived from analysis of industry and competitive trends
  • Delivery of enhanced levels of customer satisfaction measured through MOT scores and external market benchmarks.
  • Through commercial management and development, help to deliver budgeted results through improvements in Insurer Panel Net pricing.
  • Input into resolution of customer complaints.
  • Input into resolution where necessary to ensure policy underwriting meets customer need.
  • Knowledge and compliance with governance related tasks.
  • Coordinate, produce and analyse MI, to manage the performance of the Panel.
