Talent Acquisition Manager

This is a fully remote role
Whether it’s Agents to support our call centres, Editors to support our Media team or Software Developers in our Tech function, the Talent Acquisition team is at the heart of it all. With ambitions to transform the way Saga attracts, recruits, and onboards exceptional talent we are looking for a new Talent Acquisition Manager to support the growth of the team and help us achieve our long-term strategy.
As an integral part of the talent acquisition management team, you will have a large degree of autonomy to work alongside key stakeholders and focus on delivering the organisation’s recruitment needs as well as helping to define and set the overall strategy, direction and delivery plan(s) of the Talent Acquisition Team across all parts and levels of the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and be able to mix the strategic with the operational including managing recruitment campaigns

Role Responsibility
- Lead, manage and develop a small team of Senior Talent Acquisition Partners, Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist and the Talent Acquisition Co-Ordinator.
- Provide guidance on sourcing, onboarding and regulatory to a team of specialist talent acquisition professionals
- Liaise with third parties to support Saga’s Talent Acquisition strategy including LinkedIn, Job boards
- Support the establishment of KPIs and monitor team performance
- Consistently review and report on recruitment delivery performance to stakeholders providing strong data and accurate metrics for the board
- Bring a Service Improvement mindset to the recruitment process, identifying both incremental and significant changes that will improve the overall recruitment experience
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partners to connect business hiring priorities to sound resourcing strategies
- Manage recruitment delivery end to end across your team
- Work closely with other departments and actively cooperate with recruiting projects
- Champion and encourage the use of talent and market insights to influence sourcing strategies and candidate mapping
- Map out the competition and understand how our clients’ competitors are hiring building strong talent pools
- Lead a culture of collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisations various functions of the business to ensure successful recruitment delivery
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience coaching, developing, and leading a recruitment team
- The ability to set clear KPIs and demonstrate team performance
- The ability to manager supplier relationships effectively
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver projects that support the attraction, recruitment, onboarding or retention of candidates
- Experience of both volume and specialist recruitment
- Experience of supporting senior recruiters to run specialist campaigns
