And right now, we are looking for a Trading Performance Executive with a focus on Health and Travel to join us. In this role, You will monitor & analyse trading performance, conduct market & competitor assessments, and support the management & development of market-leading insurance products. You will be working within the cross functional team to ensure adherence to FCA guidelines as well as delivering product development and enhancements to business plan. 

You will bring good commercial and/or financial knowledge with stong numerical and Excel skills. You will have experience of reporting and providing insights.

Role Responsibility

  • Work with the Trading lead to monitor and analyse day-to-day/weekly trading performance for the Saga Health & Travel Insurance products, providing insight across the P&L 
  • Work seamlessly across functions to align trading focus on shared initiatives with pricing, operations, marketing and product teams 
  • Use insight & analysis to recommend initiatives that will drive performance forward, providing actionable intelligence to identify opportunities and risks to P&L 
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis that informs strategic & tactical decision-making.  
  • Lead on all aspects of our PMI broker lead generation activity, onboarding new partners, managing performance and growing the channel 
  • Involvement in all areas of product management, including Annual Product Assessments & product development 
  • Undertake root cause analysis of products to understand key drivers behind customer complaints and deliver innovative solutions 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Highly analytical and numerate – with the ability to identify and evaluate options to drive commercial benefit 
  • Excellent personal communication and presentation skills - good interpersonal skills, particularly across departments 
  • Commercially minded, with a strong result led focus   
  • Knowledge of general insurance markets, products and practices including regulatory regime and TCF 
  • Knowledge of product management principles and procedures 
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and deliver cross-functional projects to tight deadlines 
  • Health and/or Travel insurance product knowledge
