We are famous for our exceptional experiences as the leading Escorted Tour Operator in the UK. Our Travel Consultants are curious individuals who champion a relentless drive to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

When you join us, you will be the advocate for our Touring holidays to both Titan Travel and Saga Holidays customers who have called our contact centre. Using your passion for Travel, you will also support those customers with after-booking, pre-travel enquiries and amendments.

We are looking for meticulous, sales and customer service driven focused individuals, who can work well under pressure.

Role Responsibility

  • Partner with our customers to deliver exceptional service throughout the booking journey, championing new contact methods and delivering a ‘concierge’ level of service.
  • To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and processes.
  • To identify and up-sell elements to enhance the customer experience and drive increased booking revenue.
  • Champion of the customer within the business, working with other departments to create a ‘Never say no’ culture and ensure their specific and varied needs and met.
  • To meet and exceed your personal objectives, as set by your Team Manager.
  • To meet and exceed the quality standards for Saga Travel Group call handling.
  • Supply all quotes to customers with the agreed SLA’s and in line with their requirements.
  • Follow up all outstanding quotes and options, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed.
  • Achieve and exceed sales, conversion, and quality targets.
  • To always maintain customer confidentiality and adhere to FCA requirement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Sales and Travel industry experience (desirable).
  • Passion for exploring new destinations.
  • Strong geographical knowledge – cities, airports (and codes), key landmarks, bucket list destinations/sights etc.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and at a pace.
  • Previous customer service experience, delivering exceptional every day.
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of a GDS system (desirable).
