And right now we are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team. If you're looking for a hands-on data driven role, this is it. As Marketing Analyst you will help create standardisation across our digital analytics suite of MI. You should be insight led and able to leverage the full potential of our data.

You will be able to own data analysis within this function, with an opportunity to work with data science and data mining. You will lead post campaign analysis as well as support digital transformation.

Role Responsibility

  • Build and manage accurate data dashboards across Adobe Analytics, Tableau and other tools that can be used in a standardised format within the wider Digital/Marketing team
  • Manage the day to day output of the Digital Marketing attribution model – assisting with data led insight to help with accurate forecasting  
  • Deliver, support and automate daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements across the team and business users – not simply delivering data, but also providing insight & suggestions for improvement
  • Support on the management of existing and new marketing tags and the wider implementation of tags throughout the journeys
  • Deliver change to existing systems, processes, reporting and analysis and where required be on point to assist across any Change development releases, championing the data analytics requirements
  • Perform analysis on the data & reporting in order to drive customer and business insight and improve performance/results across all areas of the Digital Marketing team, working with the Performance Marketing and Conversion & Optimisation teams to help build roadmaps for future improvements and CRO across all of the Saga product suites

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience of monitoring MI and digital analytics within a trading environment against commercial plans and I conjunction with a wider team
  • Strong grasp of data mining techniques, including dataset merging and dataset analysis
  • Experience of cloud based analytics environments are desirable – Adobe experience is highly advantageous
  • Ability to understand and articulate the wider context and simplify complex ideas
  • Ability to identify and learn applicable new techniques as needed, training will be provided where appropriate (Attribution/Econometrics)
  • The ability to visualise and create uniformed analytics dashboards that can be used in across the business to extend and mature the overall commercial performance of the team
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high commitment, determination, resilience as well as quality and cost awareness
  • Experience of leading or working within a digital transformation programme would be highly advantageous
  • High levels of drive, enthusiasm and energy
  • Consistently challenges and raises the bar on business and employee performance.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong ‘results led’ focus
