A lot of what we do wouldn’t be possible without delivering an exceptional online consumer journey. Indeed, the Titan Travel website is one of our key sales channels. It also plays a major role in lead generation, as well as driving calls to our sales team.
Your focus will be on setting a clear vision and strategy for the site and seeing that customers have a fantastic experience that brings our products to life. Indeed, we’ll rely on you to define its role as both a transactional and lead generation site. Setting a structured roadmap to improve customer experience and site optimisation will be important too, as will ensuring content is up-to-date, interesting and relevant and ensuring regular analytics and performance metrics are produced.
As Website Manager, you will bring ideas, drive and positivity and be responsible for the management and performance of the site, as well as the overall digital experience.You’ll also need a proven ability to see the bigger commercial benefit of a site as a research tool and lead generator.
Well-versed in delivering an enhanced experience through personalisation (using Adobe target), you have strong analytical skills too, while turning site performance insights into learning and recommendations is also second nature to you. And, when it comes to helping a team to deliver a solid roadmap of test and learn, and website development improvements, again, you excel.

Role Responsibility
- Owns website strategy and defining role of Titan’s website as a transactional and lead generation site
- Responsible for setting a structured roadmap to improve customer experience and site optimisation, including overseeing CRO designer to deliver a personalised experience and test and learn plan
- Responsible for ensuring website content is up to date, immersive, relevant and supports SEO optimisation. This includes working with the content team to ensure content is integrated and amplified via the blog
- Managing customer feedback agency and ensuring UGC plays a relevant part in the customer journey. This includes supporting Marketing Exec and content team with social strategy
- Responsible for managing SEO agency and showing significant improvements in site traffic from natural search
- Responsible for ensuring website analytics and performance metrics are regularly produced, monitored and succinctly shared and communicated with business with clear actions
- Works collaboratively with rest of marketing to ensure communications plans are integrated and website is merchandised appropriately
- Work alongside Senior ATL exec to ensure appropriate landing page strategies are in place for PPC optimisation
- Responsible for improving experience of “My Titan” (manage my booking) experience
- Working closely with in house Senior Designer Systems on systems integration – Sitecore/ Filemaker/ Tigerbay on CMS integration and architecture. And Digital Designer on creative and site design
- Inputting and shared ownership of app development to support improved customer experience
- Responsible for leading the onsite development plan and working with the web development team at Saga to push onsite changes through
- Building relationships with counter parts at Saga Holidays to share best practice and learnings
- Support other websites within Titan including, but not exclusively, the trade site, drivers site and the careers pages
- Stakeholder management
The Ideal Candidate
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience of managing a website and delivering improvements to set KPIs
- Proven ability to plan and lead projects across both offline and online channels
- Track record of working with data and analytics to optimise performance
- Proven experience and comfortable working with analytics packages e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SessionCam etc
- Comfortable setting a vision and a clear roadmap in how to achieve the goals
- Digitally astute
- Focus on technology and innovation to drive both efficiency and effectiveness
- Omni-channel approach and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Highly commercially aware, with a broad understanding of all aspects of Titan’s product range, operations and business objectives
- Excellent understanding of the UK travel industry and key market dynamics
- People focused’ leader who can motivate and develop their team to achieve both business and personal development goals
Education and Qualifications:
- Specific and relevant experience at a senior level in Travel Marketing or a related industry
- Professional qualifications such at the CIM diploma in marketing (or equivalent) is desirable
